There are many different regions all over the world. A region is an area with a common characteristic. Take for example, the Tristate Region. This region is made up of three states. These states are Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. These states all have flat lands. This is their common characteristic. The common characteristics can be land, natural resources, and population. These are the U.S. Regions: West Region, Midwest Region, Northeast Region, Southeast Region, Southwest Region.
